Alyssa is the founder of The Opp Guild, a platform built at the intersection of workforce strategy, community, and opportunity access.

Her work is driven by a core belief: access to opportunity should not be accidental—it should be intentional, structured, and human-centered.

​

With a background in Human Resources, workforce development, program design, and strategic operations, she has built systems that connect individuals to meaningful employment while helping organizations better identify, develop, and retain talent. Her experience centers on aligning training, employment outcomes, and long-term career sustainability, ensuring that opportunities are not just created, but actually work.

As a veteran-spouse, neurodiverse individual, disability advocate, and chronic health advocate, she brings lived experience into the design of every system she builds. She understands firsthand that traditional pathways to employment do not work for everyone and that better systems require both empathy, support and structure.

That belief is what led to the creation of The Opp Guild. Inspired by years of gaming, storytelling, and community-building through platforms like Dungeons & Dragons and other immersive worlds, she saw a parallel between gaming communities and workforce ecosystems. In gaming, a guild is more than a group, it’s a collaborative network where individuals with different strengths come together, support one another, and achieve shared goals.
